Call IQ® is a system that uses state-of-the-art speech recognition technology,
capable of language models with a vocabulary of over 64,000 street words.
This is a system that is designed and built from the ground up specifically
for the correctional industry. Our application is a product that
incorporates and addresses the uniqueness of inmate telephony and that
adapts to changing linguistic environments.
Call IQ® gives you the ability
to automatically transcribe recorded calls. The system was designed
to automatically remove meanings and flags calls that need to be investigated.
You will also have the ability to research by topic and allow the use
of an expert derived dictionary to automatically retrieve all recording
containing gang and other slang. This system will also be continuously
updated of slang and other dictionaries along with custom phrases entered
by law enforcement experts.
All
training of the speech recognition system was done using actual inmate
telephone calls. Speech recognition, however, is just the first
step. All calls are post-processed to attach topics, phrase types,
custom phrases, and to extract telephone numbers.
