Access Facility Information and Inmate Status 24/7
GTL’s Facility Services Secretary is an automated attendant system that allows friends and families of inmates to easily access facility information, inmate status, and other available services such as court dates, release dates, facility address and directions, facility rules and policies, visitation information, and hours of visitation just by dialing a single toll-free telephone number. The Facility Services Secretary can be configured to access multiple information sources and services that a facility would like to make public. As information or services expand over time, the “Secretary” can be updated with new prerecorded caller prompts and connection options.
Reduce Public Inquiries to Staff
The valuable time of facility staff members is no longer required to answer basic and repetitive questions, thereby freeing up personnel to focus on operational priorities such as maintaining safety and managing inmates. That’s because the “Secretary” provides useful information such as court dates, release dates, facility address and directions, facility rules and policies, visitation information, and hours of visitation.
Self-Service, Automated Process
The Facility Services Secretary can be configured to recognize an inmate’s name, booking number, visitation date, and visitor name via keypad input from an outside caller. Friends and family members can easily obtain information about a specific inmate by following a set of simple step-by-step instructions.
Automated Inmate Inquiries
When implemented with GTL’s Inmate Telephone System, GTL provides the Inmate Information IVR that delivers the capability to access both personal and facility information via the standard inmate telephones. Information available can include inmate court dates, times, and locations as well as inmate charges, bond amounts, release dates, visitation eligibility, and other information approved by the facility.
GTL’s feature-rich Inmate Telephone System is a turnkey solution that comes complete with all hardware and software, including the telephone network, circuits, monitoring and recording system, call-control system, secure database, telephones, workstations, printers, and associated software.
