Criminal Intelligence – Anticipate and prevent criminal activity with analyzed data

The corrections landscape is constantly evolving, especially in terms of the intelligence required to keep inmates, staff, and the public safe. GTL’s Intelligence Solutions are designed for the next generation of correctional facilities by connecting systems, leveraging automation, and implementing technologies to readily identify actionable intelligence critical to ensuring a facility’s safety and security. Our solutions can collect, analyze, and compare call statistics, visitor information, accounting information, gang affiliations, and other data points to reveal illicit activity, expose suspicious patterns, and discover hidden networks. We also can provide trained and credentialed intelligence analysts and digital forensics examiners to support officers and staff members involved in an investigative capacity.

GTL has the range of tools and services and depth of expertise in corrections and law enforcement investigative practices to offer a comprehensive array of solutions in the intelligence space.

Intelligence and Investigative Solutions

Intelligence and Investigative Tools

GTL’s IQ family of call and voice analysis products offer investigators a range of options to work smarter, not harder. These applications gather data to help combat fraud, criminal activity, and gang and terrorist recruitment by identifying phone type, detecting calls from multiple inmates to a single called party, and identifying inmates using voiceprints. What’s more, GTL Data IQ is a robust “big data” analytical software solution designed to transform raw data from any structured source into actionable intelligence that can be used to solve crimes that have occurred or to reduce the potential for future crimes.

Cell Phone Detection and Interdiction

GTL has the technology to identify illicit cell phones either by their physical presence (ferromagnetic detection) or their signals (IMSI catching). Our Cellular Management System (CMS) offering inhibits calls from contraband phones. Mobile IQ is a proven strategic approach that combines detection, extraction, and analysis to focus on eradicating the problem of contraband cell phones rather than simply treating the symptom.

Contraband Detection and Interdiction

We work in consultation with a diverse array of qualified partners, allowing us to create whole solutions to stop the use of contraband through metal detection, RFID detection, and baggage detection. GTL even has partners that specialize in contraband detection using canines, and we can provide services to detect illicit drones.
