GTL Virtual Receptionist™ is an automated attendant system that allows friends and families of inmates to easily access facility information, inmate status, and other available information. By simply dialing a single or toll-free number, inmate families and friends can find court dates, release dates, bond amounts and types, facility address and directions, facility rules and policies, visitation information and hours of visitation. GTL Virtual Receptionist can be configured to access multiple sources of information and services that a facility would like to make public. As information or services are added, the attendant system can be updated with new prerecorded caller prompts and connection options. For added convenience, the attendant system provides the caller the option to transfer to GTL’s automated payment services to make deposits into inmate trust accounts or to AdvancePay® prepaid telephone accounts.
GTL Virtual Receptionist provides correctional facilities of all sizes with enhanced levels of efficiency and greater control over the inmate population. This fully hosted interactive voice response (IVR) system provides general facility information and inmate specific information over the phone without the need of a staff member to answer the call. The IVR uses both touch-tone and speech recognition technology to allow users to choose how to interact with the system.
