GTL to Demonstrate How Its Solutions Bring Safety, Security, and Success to Correctional Facilities at National Conference
Technology solutions focused on increasing connections will be on display at the American Jail Association’s Annual Conference and Jail Expo
Reston, Virginia – May 14, 2019 – GTL, a leader in transformative corrections technology that improves outcomes for inmates and facilities, today announced that it will be showcasing its solutions at the American Jail Association’s (AJA’s) Annual Conference & Jail Expo taking place May 18–22, 2019, in Louisville, Kentucky. Every year, the AJA hosts the only national event focused on local jails and detention facilities where both public and private sector groups and individuals can share experiences, take part in professional development opportunities, and showcase up-and-coming corrections technologies.
“The AJA conference is an essential event for keeping up-to-date on the issues jails are facing,” said Deb Alderson, GTL CEO. “Keeping abreast of policy changes, inmate issues, and facility operations allows us to tailor our solutions to help promote safety, security, and operational efficiencies for these facilities while keeping an emphasis on providing innovative options for rehabilitating inmates and reducing the recidivism rate.”
Ms. Alderson and senior executives from GTL will be at the conference to introduce attendees to innovative technology-enabled solutions that are beneficial for inmates, their friends and family members, facilities, and society at large. GTL’s holistic approach to corrections technology focuses on increasing connections between incarcerated individuals and their loved ones, which is a proven factor in reducing recidivism.
In addition to highlighting solutions in booth #1013, GTL will also have its Technology in Motion demo bus on site. This custom-built 45-foot demo bus—which includes the hardware, software, and connectivity to enable comprehensive hands-on demonstrations of GTL’s full range of offerings for corrections—will be parked in the exhibit hall in spot #1312 and will welcome attendees starting on Sunday, May 19.
