Rehabilitation

GTL understands that education alone is not the answer to reducing recidivism. Inmates often have underlying issues that fuel their crimes. A June 2017 Report by the Bureau of Justice Statistics found that 58% of state prisoners and 63% of jail inmates met the criteria for drug dependence or abuse. Yet less than 30% of them participated in a drug treatment program.

Resources for Self-Improvement and Recovery

To combat the drug-related epidemics that have swept the nation and its corrections population, GTL partners with the following renowned organizations to provide inmates access to customized plans that aid in rehabilitation: These partnerships allow inmates continued access to resources between facility transfers during incarceration and offering continued access programming post-release.
